I want to tell you a tough situation that I lived. It happened to my 3 years old son, one day my wife, my son and I back home from my parents in law house. I was so tired because the night before I worked late at the hospital where I used to work. When we back home, I set for a while in the living room; I was so tired that I fell asleep.
My wife saw me and covered me with a blanket. She took my son and they went to our room. Suddenly I heard to my wife running down the stairs at the same time she was screaming my name. I woke up and she was crying, when I asked her what was happening she told me that our little son fell down from the first floor of our house. I ran to the back yard and I saw my son in the floor, it seems that he was convulsing, I tried to not be scared and help my son. First I checked him and then I immobilized him, according to what I’ve learned at the medicine school.
My wife is a nurse, so she helped me to make a stretcher with some planks that we have in the house. We took him in to the car and we went to the hospital. While I was driving I was saying to my wife that she checked to my son all the time; that his legs and arms had sensitivity, that he could talk and above all that he doesn’t sleep. I was so worried about my son and my mind couldn´t stop thinking about what could happen to him, what were our options and how could I help my son.
Fortunately, when we arrived to the hospital, a pediatrician was there to help my son. She checked him, took some samples to the laboratory, she did the necessary checkup to dismiss any hazard. After all of this the doctor said that my son was out of danger, the only thing was that  his arm was  a little swollen, because when he fell down he covered his head with it, and what it seem to be seizures, was only that he was trying to breath because he lost air with the hit.
Days after the accident, we analyzed the situation and thought that the reason he fell down was that the lady that help us to clean the house went that day in the morning and she left all the windows open, so when my wife left my son in his bed, and she distracted for just a second, we think that the boy saw the open window and he felt curious, he looked out the window and he fell down. So when my wife turned again to give my son some toys, she didn’t see him and she got panic.
Although is a past event, every time that I tell the story is like I´m living it again. I thank God because the accident didn’t affect my son´s health, he get well quickly and now he´s a very healthy 5 years old boy.

In my situation, what would you do?
